You can use it for all sorts of things. I'm 12 and I use it every day. Ever wanted to do ANYTHING with math? Theres a good chance it involves multiplication.

A typical example is when you buy something; chances are you'll buy more than one unit, so you multiply the number of units by the unit price. If one chewing-gum costs 0.35 (whatever currency, doesn't matter), and you want to buy 5 pieces of Chewing Gum... well, you just multiply.
