The United States shipping ton = 40 cubic feet, another name for the freight ton.
A register ton is a unit used in describing the cargo capacity of a ship, = 100 cubic feet (approximately 2.83 cubic meters). Called a tonneau de mer in Belgium. In France, the tonneau de mer is 1.44 cubic meters (about 1.88 cubic yards).

This question cannot be answered sensibly. A cubic foot is a measure of volume, with dimensions [L3]. A tonne is a measure of mass, with dimensions [M]. The two measure different things and basic dimensional analysis teaches that you cannot convert between measures with different dimensions such as these without additional information.
As a simple mental exercise consider a cubic foot of air and of water. They will have very different masses.
A foot is a measure of distance while a ton is a measure of weigh or mass. one cannot be compared to the other.
Feet is a measure of length, ton is a measure of weight, the two do not compare.

2.13 ton of what? Ton is a unit of mass, and cubic feet is volume. So you would need to know the density of the material, in order to determine volume from mass.

It varies with the soil. A cubic ft of compacted dirt weighs 100-120 lbs. Somewhere between 17 and 20 cubic ft to a ton. A cubic yard is about a ton and a half.

At 100 pounds per cubic foot, that is 20 cubic feet per ton = 0.57 cubic meters

Knowing that 1 cubic foot is pretty much equal to 100 pounds or 0.05 ton, 1 ton of gravel is around 20 cubic feet.

One metric ton of plain water has a volume of about 35.32 cubic feet.
That depends on how muddy - the water to dirt ratio. A cubic foot of average mud is about 85 pounds. A ton is 2000 pounds, so that is 2000/85 = 23.5 cubic feet
Assuming solid limestone, not pulverized: Solid limestone weighs approximately 163 lbs per cubic foot. If we divide 2000 by 163, we come up with 12.27 cubic feet. a cubic yard is 27 cubic feet, so a ton of limestone (12.27 cubic feet) would be about .45 cubic yards.
