If the total value is 60, then it might be that each of the 6 tests is worth 10. However, it is also possible that they don't all have the same value - for instance, one might be worth 8, and another might be worth 12. The only thing you can really be sure of is that the AVERAGE value of each test is 10.

Not necessarily. The tests may not carry equal weight in the total.

How do you average 70 percent test grade and 30 percent homework grades?

It is not possible to answer the question without knowing how much of the total each one is worth. If they are both equally important, then the answer is 50% but they are rarely (if ever) equally important. If the test grade is worth x percent of the total - not your grade but how much weight it carries in the total - then the average is [x*70+(1-x)*30]/100

What grade would you get if you got 1 question wrong on a test?

It depends how many points each question is worth. If each question is worth five points on a twenty question test, you would get ninety-five percent.

What is your grade if you miss 11 out of 16?

If each of the 16 questions is worth the same credit, then your score is 31.3% correct, 68.7% incorrect. Each teacher decides what range of scores will get which letter grade, and it might be different on different tests. But it's hard to imagine that your score on this one could get any passing grade.

A teacher has to grade 50 tests She can grade 4 tests in 6 minutes How long would it take her to grade all the tests?

Around 33 minutes, but 33.3333333 to be more precise. Here's the reason, you have to find a rate so its task over time (4/6) which comes out to .333333333333. So then since you have a rate you'd multiply. So .3333333333333*50= 33.3333333

What is your grade if you get 3 wrong on a 80 question test?

To calculate your grade, you need to know how much each question is worth. If each question is worth the same, you can divide the number of correct answers (80 - 3 = 77) by the total number of questions (80) and multiply by 100 to get a percentage. If each question is worth different points, you'll need to know the point value of each question to calculate your grade.

How do you calculate your report card grade when you know the percent you got on each section but each section is a different percentage of the overall grade ie classwork is 30 quiz 10 percent etc?

This is a legal question? First make sure the percentages add up to 100. If the grades are also numeric or you are given the number equivalent for each letter grade, multiply each grade by the %, add the results. (Classwork x .3) + (quiz1 X .1) + (quiz2 X .1)...(final exam X ?)= grade.

How do you find your final grade?

In most grading systems, your final grade is the average of your semester/marking period grades. Your mid-term and final exams might be separate and worth a percentage of your final grade. For example, in a high school divided into four marking periods, each marking period might be worth 20% of your final grade, and the mid-term/final exam might be worth 10% each of your final grade. Bottom line is that it depends on your individual school or college course. Each one may have a slightly different way of calculating your final grade, and you should contact them for specifics.
