423.51 neither prime nor composite. All prime and composite numbers must be whole numbers such as 10, 11, 12, 13. They can not have decimal places. A Prime number has only 2 factors which are 1 and itself. Composite numbers are everything else except 1, 2, and 0. 1, 2, and 0 have a different name.
