negative 8 and positive 5 (-8) + (5) = -3 (-8) - (5) = -13
No. (-1/3) - (-2/3) = + 1/3
its a negative number.
It is negative 34.

The answer to this depends on what you are doing with the numbers..... * A negative added to a negative gives a negative (-3) + (-5) = -8 * A negative subtracted from a negative may give either a negative or a positive (-3) - (-5) = +2 (-5) - (-3) = -2 * A negative multiplied by a negative gives a positive (-3) x (-5) = +15 * A negative divided by a negative gives a positive (-3) ÷ (-5) = +0.6
negative 8 and positive 5 (-8) + (5) = -3 (-8) - (5) = -13
A positiveIMPROVED: -2-6 = -8but if you have 2 - -3 then the minus's will become a PLUS, so it'll be 2+3 which is 5.
No. (-1/3) - (-2/3) = + 1/3
5 - (-5) = 10
negative number subtracted FROM a negative number will be negative
-18/5 = -324/90 -37/18 = -185/90 -185 + 324 = 139/90 or 1 and 49/90
The number is 5.
yes, especially with integers too. for example, (-5)-(+3)=-8 even if it was the other around way around so it be a positive subtracted by a negative, the sum would still be a negative. so remember, whenever you have one negative and one positive it will always be a negative!:) sorry, im just in grade 8 so don't judge.. lol
