i would think, judging on his attitude, that he is afraid of not being able to complete or solve a riddle,question, etc. he could also fear the feeling of being uncertain of his answer to a riddle, question, etc. but this is just what I think, you ,on the other hand, might have another opinion but hey, what can i say
