β 9y agoWrite the equation for the perimeter of the rectangle. Replace the known length, and then calculate the width. Once you know that, you can multiply length x width to find the area.
L=16 in W=8 in
48 / 16 = 3
area = length x width width = area/length 16/8 = 2 feet
To calculate the area of a rectangle you need to multiply the width by the length
3 cm
L=16 in W=8 in
area = length x width width = area/length 16/8 = 2 feet
48 / 16 = 3
It is: 88/16 = 5.5 feet
To calculate the area of a rectangle you need to multiply the width by the length
3 cm
Length of rectangle: 240/15 = 16 meters
16 * 12, or 64 * 3 Answer is 192
72*16 = 1152 square units.
Here's an example: A 4*4 rectangle has the same area as a 1*16 rectangle, but their perimeters are different.
each side is equal to 16 cm 16 + 16 + 16 = 48 cm
4 x 4
