According to the related link below, the world's largest wetland is the Pantanal, which covers 200,000 square kilometres (during the wet season) through Brazil, Paraguay and Bolivia. It is fed by the Rio Paraguay.

The world's largest "protected" wetland was declared in 2013 to be Llanos de Moxos, in Bolivia. It is roughly the size of the US state of North Dakota. See also related links.
