That would depend more on the material that the chequered plate is made from. For example, normal mild steel would be about 7650kg per cubic meter. i.e. a specific density of 7.65. I would think what you're looking for is the mass per square meter which is approximately 65.25kg/m2 for a steel plate.
ms pipe B class 20 mm & 40 mm convrsion from one mtr weight into kgs
6mm chequered ms plate per square meter weight
chequered plate 5 mm thickness weight is 45.4 kg
4mm chequered plate unit weight
Mr. Jayvel know all these things
The weight of an 8 mm mild steel plate would depend on the dimensions of the plate. However, as a rough estimate, the weight of a 8 mm thick mild steel plate measuring 1 square meter would be approximately 62.8 kg.
Weight Calculation: Extra weight of chequers length (m) x width (m) x 2.1 = kg/plate Total weight: length (m) x width (m) x thickness (mm) x 7.85 + extra weight = kg/plate Eg: 2400 x 1220 x 6mm Chequer Plate Extra weight: 2.4 x 1.22 x 2.1 = 6.15 kg/plate Total weight: 2.4 x 1.22 x 6 x 7.85 + 6.15 = 144.06 kg/plate
You need to know the thickness of the chequered plate to calculate weight. As a thumbrule, for 12mm thick chequered plate, you can consider 10 kg per sq.ft. Multiply by area to get the total weight. +++ You cannot mix units like that. You give the dimensions in mm and kg then introduce feet - it should be all Imperial or all metric.

Size of sheet is mentioned in length , width [either in millimeters(mm) or meters(m)] and thickness in millimeters(mm) Base Density of Aluminum - 2710 kg/cubic meter For 6 mm thickness of sheet for dimensions length - 2438mm width -1219mm Weight of sheet is calculated as follows - -Convert length and width dimensions of mm into meters 2438/1000 = 2.438m and 1219/1000 = 1.219m and 6.3/1000 = .0063m - Area per sheet - 2.438 x 1.219 = 2.97 sq.m - Weight = Area x thickness x density = 2.97 x .0063 x 2710 = 50.7 kgs approx.
