a+b=20

(20-b)b=105

-b^2 +20b -105=0

x^2 -20x +105=0

using the quadratic formula we get:

(-b +-sqrt(b^2-4ac))/2a

(20 +-sqrt(20^2-4*105))/2

10+-sqrt(-20)/2

the answers are:

10+sqrt(-5) and 10-sqrt(-5)
