It's what changes when you alter the manipulated variable.
Examples:
In an experiment testing how tall anplant grows in different amounts of sunlight - the manipulated variable is the sunlight, the responding variable is the height of the plant.
In an experiment testing how much carbon dioxide produced when different amounts of baking soda react to vinegar - the manip. variable is the baking soda amount, the resp. variable is the carbon dioxide.
In an experiment testing how different vitamins affect a person - the manip. variable is the vitamin, the resp. variable is the effect on the person.
It all depends the normal ranges of the lab where you had the test done. At the hospital where I work at the normal range is anything below 38.6 U/mL. Make sure to check the normal ranges of the lab where you had the test done as it varies widely from lab to lab.
Counting statistics experiments in nuclear lab helps with science. This helps learn of numbers and measurements.
mpv
MPV is otherwise known as the "Mean Platelet Volume". For more information on MPV, read on the link provided below.
In this context, STAT stands for URGENT, EXPEDITED, so it means a blood lab performed urgently. STAT is an abbreviation of the Latin word "statim," meaning immediately.

The time is the dependent variable in the dominoes lab.
Time, which relies on nothing, is usually the independent variable of a lab.
that lab how they performend in the corporate and responding and communication etc.. we need to improved the lab
thats not even a question
In the Domino Dash lab, the independent variable was the height from which the dominoes were dropped. This variable was manipulated to observe its effect on the speed or distance the dominoes traveled.
A control variable is a test subject where nothing is tested on it and instead is used to compare. Let's say you had 2 Oranges. Orange 1 is left in the sun for 8 hours while orange 2 isn't doing anything. Orange 2 would be the control variable because nothing happened to it and you can use it to compare with orange 2 that has melted in the sun after 8 hours. Understand? If you don't just ask your science teacher and he/she might explain it better.
to take temperature of a variable/object
time the batteries were charged
There are many independent variables in the termite lab, depending on how complex the lab is. Remember that the independent variable is the one you change, so this would include the type of pen, color of the ink, shape drawn, etc.
