In a odd set of numbers the middle number is the median, but if there's a even set of numbers, say 6 for example, you add the two numbers in the middle then divide them by 2 and you will end up with the middle of the two middle numbers- what a mouthful! Or another way to do it is if the two middle numbers are say 4 and 6 then obviously the number between them is 5

Example: Find the median for these numbers.

2,3,4,5,6,7

4+5=9

9 divided by 2=4.5

Therefore the answer is 4.5

If there are two medians in a dataset, it typically means that the data set has an even number of values. In this case, you would calculate the median by taking the average of the two middle values. This is done by adding the two middle values together and then dividing by 2. This average value would be considered the median of the dataset.

Well, honey, if you've got two medians in your data set, you better check your math because there should only be one median. The median is the middle value when your data is ordered from least to greatest, so having two of them means something ain't right. Double-check your calculations and figure out what went wrong before you start making any important decisions based on that wonky data.
