There's only one Ace of spades in a 52 card deck so it's 1/52 times the probability of drawing a heart (there are 13 hearts in the same deck, but now there are 51 cards because we already drew one out).

That makes it 1/52 * 13/51 = 13/2652 = 1/204

This is if you want the Ace first, then the heart, if order doesn't matter, you add this to the probability of drawing the heart first, then the Ace of Spades which is (13/52*1/51) =1/204 notice is the same as the first one.

So if order doesn't matter, the probability is 1/204 + 1/204 = 2/204 = 1/102

What is the probability of drawing two diamonds in two draws without replacing?

The probability of drawing a diamond from a standard 52-card poker deck without jokers is 13/52, or 1/4. The probability of drawing a second diamond at that point would then be 12/51, for an overall probability of 12/212, or 3/53. This amounts to about a 5.88% chance.

Can you figure out the probability of each of the occurrences without drawing the tree diagram?

Yes.

What is the probability of choosing a queen or a king from a standard deck of cards?

The probability of drawing a queen or king, in a single randomly drawn card, is 2/13. The probability of drawing one when you draw 45 cards without replacement is 1. The probability of choosing has nothing t do with the probability of drawing the card. I can choose a king but fail to find one!

What is the probability of drawing a diamond from a normal deck of cards?

If you draw 40 cards without replacement the probability is 1! If you draw just one, the probability is 1/4.

What is the probability of drawing a heart in a deck of cards?

The probability, if you draw 40 cards, without replacement, is 1. That is, it is a certainty. The probability on a single random draw is 1/4.

What is the probability of drawing 1 card from each suit?

The answer depends on how many cards are drawn. If 40 are drawn without replacement, from a normal deck, the probability is 1. If 3 are drawn the probability is 0!

What is the probability of drawing a red card and a spade in two draws without replacing?

The probability of drawing a red card followed by a spade is (1 in 2) times (1 in 4), or 1 in 8, or 0.125. The probability of drawing a spade followed by a red card is (1 in 4) times (1 in 2), or 1 in 8, or 0.125. Since you have two distinct desired outcomes, add them together, giving a probability of drawing a red card and a spade of 0.25.
