Let put the question in an other way : obtaining at least one head is the contrary of obtaining two tails at the same time.

The probability to obtain one tail with first coin is 1/2,

the probability to obtain one tail with the other is also 1/2,

so the probability to obtain one tail on each coin is 1/2x1/2 = 1/4

Thus the probability to obtain at least one head is 1-1/4=3/4

If 3 coins are tossed simultaneously the probability of getting at least 1head is?

3/8

Probability of getting 1 head tossing two coins?

By tossing two coins the possible outcomes are:H & HH & TT & HT & TThus the probability of getting exactly 1 head is 2 out 4 or 50%. If the question was what is the probability of getting at least 1 head then the probability is 3 out of 4 or 75%

What is the probability of getting a least one tail when tossing eight fair coins?

The probability of getting at least 1 tails is (1 - probability of getting all heads) The probability of getting all heads (no tails) is ½ x ½ x ½ x ½ x ½ x ½ x ½ x ½ = 1/256 = 0.00390625 so the probability of getting at least ONE tails is 1-0.30390625 = 0.99609375 = 255/256

What is the probability of obtaining at least one head when a coin is flipped four times?

The probability of obtaining 4 tails when a coin is flipped 4 times is: P(4T) = (1/2)4 = 1/16 = 0.0625 Then, the probability of obtaining at least 1 head when a coin is flipped 4 times is: P(at least 1 head) = 1 - 1/16 = 15/16 = 0.9375

Suppose six coins are flipped then the probality of getting at least one tail?

The probability of getting at least one tail in a flip of six coins is the same as the probability of not getting all heads, which is 1 - (0.56), or 0.984375.

What is the probability of getting heads at least once if a fair coin is flipped three times?

7/8

What does at least mean in math?

'At least' means equal to or greater than. This meaning is not restricted to maths; it is one of the common everyday meanings of the phrase. So if you have a question which, for example, tells you to calculate the probability of getting at least one head when a coin is flipped twice then it means:What is the probability of getting one or more heads when a coin is flipped twice.

If 5 coins are flipped what is the probability of obtaining at least one heads?

The correct answer is 31/32 or 0.96875 because .50/2/2/2/2= 3.125%

What is the probability of winning by getting more heads when flipping a coin once or flipping a coin twice?

Your question is a bit difficult to understand. I will rephrase it as follows: What is the probability of getting a head if a coin is flipped once? p = 0.5 What is the probability of getting 2 heads if a coin is flipped twice = The possible events are HT, TH, HH, TT amd all are equally likely. So the probability of HH is 0.25. What is the probability of getting at least on head if the coin is flipped twice. Of the possible events listed above, HT, TH and HH would satisfy the condition of one or more heads, so the probability is 3 x 0.25 = 0.75 or 3/4. Also, since the probability of TT is 0.25, and the probability of all events must sum to 1, then we calculate the probability of one or more heads to be 1-0.25 = 0.75

What is the probability that at least one coin will be tails?

The answer depends on how many coins were tossed.

When tossing 5 coins simultaneously can you find the probability that at least 1 head is showing?

Probability not at least 1 head showing is when all 5 coins are tails: (1/2)5=1/32 Therefore probability at least 1 head is showing is 1-1/32=31/32
