If there are 4 girls the ratio would be 7:1. I don't see how you could have 4.7 of somebody, but if it were possible the ratio would be 5.9:1

What is the probability a girl is chosen if 15 students are girls and 10 students are boys?

The ratio of girls to total students is 15:25, or 3:5. Three out of five students are girls so there would be a 60% probability that a girl would be chosen; a 2 out of 5 chance, or 40% probability that a boy would be chosen.

For example there are 5 pups, 2 are boys and 3 are girls, then the ratio of boys to girls 2/3, the ratio of boys to total is 2/5, the ratio of girls to total is 3/5.a ratio can also be used in drawings. For example to draw a horse with a scale 1/10 from its normal size. Another example is that the height to width ratio of the Indian Flag is 2:3 or 2/3Another examples are:1/2, 3/4, 78/89, ... etcx/(x+1), y/(y-2), ... etc.

What is the probability of getting male and female offspring in human?

The male to female human sex ratio varies, due to demographics, environment, sex deterministic abortion, and imbalance in the male/female sperm viability ratio. The secondary ratio of boys to girls is about 105 to 100, or about 0.525 male. Estimates of the current birth sex ratio is about 0.535 male. The current global sex ratio (population) is about 0.507 male (2010) to 0.508 male (projected 2011).

What is the ratio of boys to girls if there were 18 boys and 9 girls?

The ratio of boys to girls can be calculated by dividing the number of boys by the number of girls. In this case, there are 18 boys and 9 girls, so the ratio would be 18:9. This ratio can be simplified by dividing both numbers by their greatest common factor, which in this case is 9. Therefore, the simplified ratio of boys to girls is 2:1.

What is the ratio of girls to boys if a class has 10 boys and 15 girls?

The ratio of girls to boys in the class can be calculated by dividing the number of girls by the number of boys. With 15 girls and 10 boys, the ratio is 15:10. If there is a 3 to 7 ratio of boys to girls how many boys are there?

If the ratio of boys to girls is 3:7, this means that for every 3 boys, there are 7 girls. To find out how many boys there are, you would need to divide the total number of children by the sum of the parts in the ratio (3 + 7 = 10) and then multiply that result by the number of boys' parts in the ratio (3). So, if there are 30 children in total, there would be 9 boys (30 divided by 10, times 3).
