well in my way of using geometry is the angle of the right hand to guide the Basketball and the angle of the left hand and what angle you need to thrust the basketball in, symbolizing the direction of the basketball hoop
Basketball is basically played with percentages. A good superstar player like LeBron James shoots efficiently at fifty percent. Any NBA player can get thirty points a night, the bad ones need to take a lot more shots to get thirty. So math plays a huge part in basketball through its percentages. Also not to get too complicated physics and calculus have a lot to do with the force and trajectory to which the ball is leaving the hand.
by calculating their plays.
Score the game.
They gernerally do not, but during scoring you use math. You use math to add up the score and find which team wins.
The answer changes every time so whoever asked this question it was supposed to be "What is the way to beat math basketball?" and that answer would be is to use paper to go over what you think you may know.
no
Yes! Math helps develop your concentration skills and in basketball, you need them.
how is basketball related to math?
Well, I know that even though you don't think about it,YOU USE MATH TO KEEP SCORE!!!!!!There are other ways to use math with basketball,How many feet up is the hoop? How many feet can you jump? What is the circumference of the hoop? What is the measure of the Ball?Rectangular CourtPhysicsTime
In basketball, math is often seen but we hardly notice it. Not just by counting the points, but by the angle and height relation in which determines your chances of making a shot which leads to probability.
Quadratics, to be able to calculate the parabolas when one shoots a basketball.
uga Duke University is very good for basketball and math. Stanford is my pick for football and math.
well other than counting up points and checking shooting percentages there isnt really any use for math in basketball.. any standard class should be fine no paticular class would reduce or improve your basketball career
