NO, infact KFC has nothing to do with the chicken it uses as it is sourced from other companies. In New Zealand, the chicken KFC uses is from Tegal and Inghams and KFC has no say or imput into the treatment of the chicken until it is delivered - already cut up and ready for cooking.
I don't know about Australia but in California u.s.a i know some kfc restaurant get there chicken from local companies that cut the chicken for them..I know this bacause i use to work at p&c poultry in city of in dustry were they would cut chicken breast into strips and pop corn chicken and would be made there so in reality kfc doesnt even prepare there food.

Personally I cut a chicken breast into small pieces approximately 1 inch by a half inch, then fry until cooked and slightly browned, regularly move the chicken in the pan, and cut the largest pieces in half to ensure they are cooked properly. Then I add curry sauce and boil for 5-10 minutes.
If you're cutting a whole chicken into pieces, a boning knife helps but you can use any good sharp knife.
