Although fractions might seem different than whole numbers, or more mysterious, they aren't. In fact, handling fractions become easy once you realize one thing: that line separating the numerator and denominator means divided by. That's it.
In your case, you have a zero over an eight. Don't pronounce it "zero eighths" but rather "zero divided by eight." Do you see how easy this becomes now? You already know that zero divided by any number is... ZERO! So the answer in decimal form is simply 0.0
Hope this helps!
It is: -0.'54' as a decimal recurring '54'
If the decimal is positive, than a negative number is less than 0.
If the decimal is positive, than a negative number is less than 0.
A decimal that has a negative sign in front of it, for example -0.5 would be a negative decimal, on a number line it would be to the left of 0.
Move the 5 over past the decimal point and add a 0
the answer is 0
0 over any number always equals 0, so no it can't be written with a decimal.
0/2 = 0
0.0
0.0 is.
0.0
0/3 is equal to nothing, so 0/3 written as a decimal would be 0
