You do not.
A square yard is a measure of area. A linear foot, as the name suggests, is a measure of distance. The two measure different things and it makes no sense to try to convert from one to the other.
divide by 9.
You need to know the width of the product. If the width is w feet, thenprice per sq foot = price per linear yard/(3*w)
There are nine square feet in one square yard.
1 gaj = 1 sq. yard = 9 sq. feet hence, 300 gaj = 2700 sq. feet
1 gaj = 1 sq. yard = 9 sq. feet hence, 1000 gaj = 9000 sq. feet
You cannot. Feet is a unit of length and is one dimensional while square yards are units of area which are two dimensional. BUT to convert from sq feet to sq yards: 3 ft = 1 yard --> 1 yard/3 =ft 1 sq yard = 1 yard * yard = 1 yard**2 1 sq foot = 1 foot * foot = 1 foot**2 1 sq foot = 1/3yard *1/3yard = 1/9 yard**2
The conversion requires information about the width of the product - in yards. If it is w yards wide, then price per square yard = price per linear yard/w
1 square yard = 9 square feet So to convert sq. yards to sq. feet, multiply by 1/9
1 sq. yard = 9 sq. feet. 238 sq. yard * 9 sq. feet/1 sq. yard = 2142 sq. feet
0.1666 sq yd
1 Yard = 3 Feet 1 Sq Yard = 9 Sq Ft Divide Sq-Ft by 9 to get Sq-Yd 10,742 Sq Ft / 9 = 1,193.4 Sq Yd (check my math with a calculator)
1 yard = 3 feet 1 sq yard = 9 sq feet 1 sq yard = 81 feet
