this is an easy trick for multiplying double-digit number by 11
example: 15 x 11
1.)add the digits of the number that you are multiplying :1+5 = 6
2.) place the sum of the two numbers between 1 and 5 (15)
3.) so the answer to 15 x 11 is 165
how about bigger numbers like 84 x 11
1.) the same add 8 and 4 =12
2.) put 2 between 8 and 4 (824)
3.) carry and add 1 to the digit at the left that is 8 + 1 =9
4.) and the final answer is 924
