I see something like this and I use the quadratic formula, which solves all quadratic equations. Discriminant, by inspection, looks good for two real roots.
X = -b +/- sqrt(b^2 - 4ac)/2a
a = -3
b = -1
c = 2
X = -(-1) +/- sqrt[(-1)^2 - 4(-3)(2)]/2(-3)
X = 1 +/- sqrt(25)/-6
X = {1 +/- 5}/-6
X = -1
X = 2/3
