You can't. The area doesn't tell you the dimensions. There are an infinite number of shapes and different dimensions that all have the same area.
Here are a few rectangles that all enclose 1,111 square feet:
2ft 9in x 404ft
5ft 6in x 202ft
11ft x 101ft
22ft x 50ft 6in
25ft 3in x 44ft
You use the equation Area = width x length. And solve for the width. You solve it by dividing both sides by the length to get.. Area/length = width
You multiply them together. Length x Width X Height = Volume.
It not possible you nit witt that is not true length x width = area If you know length and area, solve width width = area / length then 2 x length + 2 x width = perimeter
The formula for volume is length x width x height = volume. So if you take the volume and divide it by the length and width it should give you the height.
Multiply length x width.

You cannot without knowing what the shape is.
There is no "height" of a rectangle, unless it's a rectangular prism. Do you mean the length? If you have the area of the rectangle, the equation should be:A= L x WPlug in the area and the length and solve for the width, or plug in the area the width of the rectangle, and solve for the length.
You didn't specify what you want to solve for. For example, in the case of the rectangle, area = length x width. Since there are infinitely many factors that will give a specific product, you won't be able to know what is the length, and what is the width.
For a rectangle, it is 2(l + w) l = length w = width
Area equalls length multiplied by the width so 5.5xL=24.75, and then you just solve for l by dividen 24.75 by 5.5 and you get the L, the length, is 4.5
The formula you need is: area = length x width Replace the numbers you know; solve for the number you don't know.
