Imagine the end of the pipe as a circle. If r is radius then area is pi (r squared). So volume is,

Pi multiplied by r squared and multiplied by the length. Make sure the radius and length are in the same units e.g. inches.

so if 0.5 is diameter in inches then radius is half that 0.25.

so r squared is 0.0625 inches2

length in inches is 12 x 250 i.e. 3000 inches.

So answer is pi(3.14.......) x 0.0625 x 3000

= pi x 187.5 cubic inches.

n.b. 1 cubic foot is 12 x12 x12 = 1728 cubic inches. if you want to convert to cubic feet.
