Are you a massively awesome, super genius, hyper-smart, dedicated student? No? Then yes it will be a challenge. I'm not saying it's impossible (some would) but it's not one of those thing that you can get by doing you work at lunch.

Say you get a perfect TOK and EE score, then you only need a 37 points, which you can get by getting five 6s and one 7 (IB gives a 7 to only the top 5% of the people who took the course); or if you are just not-awsome at a subject and get a 5, you can make it up by getting a second 7, so there is some flexibility.

As a friendly advice, there is nothing more frustrating than getting, say, a 4 when you were one point away from a 5, you feel bad, and it is bad, you were a 5-student that colleges will see as a 4-student just because you forgot to divide by 2, or the year of the Great Leap Forward, etc. So, always stay well away from cut off lines (unless it is the upper one, in which case you may wish to study an extra 20min before the test).

Where can you take IB courses online I live in Canada. I would be taking full IB except i dropped math because it was hard. I want to replace math . I want to still get the Ib diploma. c my question?

Are you sure you can drop math? I think you would be getting a non IB diploma. You can take higher level or standard level, but if you don't take the IB course my understanding is you wouldn't get the diploma. I am not aware of IB online. You might try going to the official IB site.

What is an IB score?

An IB score is the score you get after you have taken your IB (International Baccalaureate) exam. It's similar to the American AP or British A levels. You can either take diploma or certificate, and it's a two year course. If you take the diploma programme than the Ib score is out of 45. You will take 6 subjects that are marked out of 7 and the last three points can be awarded with getting a good grade on your TOK presentation and extended essay.

What difference between ib diploma and ib certificate?

The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a comprehensive educational framework that offers various programs for students of different age groups. Two of the most well-known programs within the IB framework are the IB Diploma Programme (IB DP) and the IB Middle Years Programme (IB MYP). Here are the key differences between the IB Diploma and IB: Age Group and Grade Levels: IB Diploma Programme (IB DP): The IB DP is typically undertaken by students aged 16 to 19, corresponding to grades 11 and 12 in many educational systems. IB Middle Years Programme (IB MYP): The IB MYP is designed for students aged 11 to 16, generally covering grades 6 to 10. Scope and Focus: IB Diploma Programme (IB DP): The IB DP is a two-year program that offers a comprehensive curriculum with a wide range of subject options. It is designed to provide students with a balanced education across six subject groups, including languages, sciences, mathematics, humanities, arts, and electives. The IB DP culminates in a rigorous set of examinations and the awarding of the IB Diploma. IB Middle Years Programme (IB MYP): The IB MYP is a five-year program that emphasizes interdisciplinary learning and skill development. It offers a holistic curriculum across eight subject areas, including language acquisition, humanities, sciences, mathematics, arts, physical education, technology, and interdisciplinary learning. Recognition and College/University Preparation: IB Diploma Programme (IB DP): The IB DP is widely recognized and highly regarded by universities and colleges around the world. It is known for its academic rigor, critical thinking emphasis, and holistic approach to education. IB DP graduates often receive advanced standing, course credits, or other admissions benefits when applying to higher education institutions. IB Middle Years Programme (IB MYP): The IB MYP provides a strong foundation for further education and can serve as preparation for the IB DP or other academic pathways. While the IB MYP is not a diploma-granting program, its interdisciplinary and skill-focused approach prepares students for future academic pursuits. It's worth noting that the IB framework also includes the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for students aged 3 to 12, and the IB Career-related Programme (IB CP) for students aged 16 to 19, which combines academic studies with career-related pathways.

How good is an international baccalaureate score of 44?

Haha well the school i go to is fairly new to the IB program. Last year we had our first class that graduated with IB, the people who graduated with the diploma i think they got something like 28-33... so thirty is pretty good id say No. Its not. IB score 30 is NOT equivalent to 3As in A Levels, it more like BCC My school is new to the IB program too, and I dont know of anyone with a score of 30. Our overall predicted grades are like 35-42, so no, 30 is not 'very good'. The average IB score is 30 - equivalent to 419 UCAS points, which is same UCAS points as three A-levels at 'A' grade and one AS-level at 'A' grade. 30 might be the average score, but IB students can score as high as 45 points - equivalent to six grade 'A's at A-level.
