to convert to bases (that are less than 10) from decimal, you continuously divide the decimal number by the base (or squares, cubes, etc of the base) until you have a remainder, which you use as the unit.
E.g. to conver 511 into base 4, you have to divide 4 by the biggest of 4, 4x4, 4x4, 4x4x4, etc, and write that first, then work your way down
4x4 = 16
4x4x4 = 64
4x4x4x4 = 256
4x4x4x4x4 = 1024 which is too big and will not work
so 511(10) -> x(4)
do
511 / 256 = 1 remainder 255
then 255 / 64 = 3 remainder 63
then 63 / 16 = 3 remainder 15
and so on and so on
eventually you get
511(10) -> 13333(4)
SOOOO...
the (much easier) example of 8(10) -> x(3)
8 / 9 doesn't go
8 / 3 = 2 remainder 2
so the answer is 22(3) or 22(in base 3)

Your question is ambiguous.Possible answers are:1. 333 (333 in base 5 = 333 in base 5). You must properly specify an alternate base if you want a conversion between 2 different bases.2. 2313 (converted 333 base 10 to base 5)3. 93 (converted 333 base 5 to base 10)Method:-------If you want to know 333 base 10 value in a base 5 system, then your answer is: 2313.Base 10 to Base 5 Conversion Method:333 / 5 = 66.6 .6*5 = 3 66 / 5 = 13.2 .2*5 = 113 / 5 = 2.6 .6*5 = 3 2 / 5 = .4 .4*5 = 2----If you want to know 333 base 5 value in a base 10 system, then your answer is: 93.Base 5 to Base 10 Conversion Method:5^2=25 * 3 = 755^1= 5 * 3 = 155^0=1 * 3 = 375 + 15 + 3 = 93
i do'nt know can you tell me the answer please i want to complete my project please give an helping hand <3 <3 <3
The base for the number (3) is typically understood to be (10) (decimal), which is the standard numeral system used in everyday counting and calculations. However, (3) can also represent a number in any base. For example, if you specify the base as (b), then (3) in base (b) represents the value (3) in decimal as long as (b > 3). If you meant something specific by "the base for the following in 3," please provide more context for a precise answer.

the formula is half base times height if the base is 6. divide it by 2, which would give you 3. 3 times 9 = 27
