Based on the pattern of 1s, I guess you want the average of the set of numbers {14, 16, 16, 18, 22}, and I guess you want the mean average:
mean average = sum of all the number divided by how many numbers there are = (14 + 16 + 16 + 18 + 22) ÷ 5 = 17.2
Just in case that wasn't the average you wanted, the other two averages are:
median average = middle number = 16
mode average = most frequent number = 16.
If an unspecified average is given when reading data, it is usually the mean, but it can be one of the others, especially if the averages differ quite substantially (one such area would be average wages) and a specific point of view is wanted to be given by the author.
The average of the remaining numbers is 38.

To find the average of a list of numbers, add the numbers and divide by the number of numbers in the list.
The average of n numbers = (sum of n numbers) / (count of n numbers).
There are many sets of numbers with an average of 50.Two numbers with an average of 50 is 49 and 51.

Arithmetic:The computing of numerals and numbers.
If you want to calculate the average of a list of numbers, add the numbers together and divide it by the number of numbers.
The average of two numbers.
The average of a group of numbers is(the sum of all the numbers in the group)/(how many numbers there are in the group)
The average, in this case, is the sum divided by 4 (since there are 4 numbers).
