y=-4x+4
A good way is to give numbers for x and see what y is. I've done enough of these to see it in my head.
All you need is two points. The y-intercept is 4 because that's when x is 0. (0,4)
Then go right unit then down 4 and that's your next point.
0=-4(1)+4
Which is (1,0)
Connect the two lines
It is -4x - 4
x3 + x2 + 4x + 4 = (x2 + 4)(x + 1)
5x + 3 - 4 + 4x = 9x -1
x-intercept of y equals -4x plus 4 y = -4x + 4 0 = -4x + 4 -4 = -4x 1 = x So 1 is the x-intercept
The derivative of 2x2 + 4x + 8 is 4x+4.
8x + 12 = 4x - 4 8x - 4x = -4 - 12 4x = -16 x = -4
It is: 4x(1+4)
(4x^3 + 2x^2 + 3x + 4)/(x + 4) = 4x^2 - 14x + 59 - 232/(x + 4)
-4x + 8 = -4 -4x + 8 - 8 = -4 -8 -4x = -12 -4x/-4 = -12/-4 x = 3
8x+30=4x+18 -4x -4x 4x+30=18 -30 -30 4x=-12 4x/4=-12/4 x=-3
6x+4 = x+12+4x-6 6x-x-4x = 12-6-4 x = 2
5x + 3 - 4 + 4x = 9x -1
