∙ 14y agothe area of a rectangle = length x width
we can rearrange this to give us
length of a rectangle = area/ width

∙ 14y agoThe length and width can't be determined since it is a rectangle. A length would need to be given, or it would have to be a square.
You can't. There are an infinite number of possible rectangles with a given area.
Given , area =A= 20.5cm2 = length*width, so (length)(2.5)=20.5 or length=20.5/2.5=8.2cm approx.....
The area of a rectangle with a width of 9 and length of 23 is 207 square units.
Area of a rectangle is length times width, therefore if the length is two feet longer than the width then the length is 9 and the width is 7, when they are multiplied you get 63
For a rectangle, area equals length times width. To find the length given the width and area, divide the area by the width.
That would depend on the length of the rectangle which has not been given but the area of a rectangle is length times width
Divide area by length and that gives you width.
Divide the area by the width and it will give you the length.
Divide the area by the length will give you the width
Height = Area divided by Length
you divide the area by the length and you have the other side
For a rectangle or square, Area = Length * Width So Length = Area / Width.
A = lw Area of a rectangle = length times width

length times width
It is the area of the rectangle which is length times width
