2x - 52 is already simplified. 52 doesn't have an x so it and 2x are not like terms. With multiplication, it would be possible to simplify further but since it's addition you can't.

You cannot solve this problem unless you know the value of x. divide it by 2 x-26 then u need x to solve

No, that wouldn't work - say x was equal to 50. 2x50=100. 100-52=48.

If you used x-26 (50-26) you would get 24. 2x-52 is already simplified.

What is the difference between simplifying and solving in math?

You simplify expressions and solve equations. You don't simplify something that has an equal sign, and you don't solve something that doesn't have an equal sign. For examples, you simplify 2/4 and solve x + 0 = 1

What is a simplify equation?

To simplify an equation is to combine like terms, but you do not solve it for example: simplify 3X+4-X-6 2X-2

How Can You Solve A Radical Expression?

It depends on what you mean by solve: simplify, evaluate or rationalise the denominator. The answer will also depend on the radical expression.
