the mean tells us a about the average of the data. it's what most people received averaged up.
Ex. 19, 5, 3, 20, 11,and 15.
then you add them up
the addition answer is 73.
then you divide 73 by the amount of numbers in the data, 6.
73/6=12.1.
this tells us that roughly, the average of these 6 people is 12.1.
hope that helps.
It gives a measure of the spread of the data.
Will gve the mean average of the data
no it can not because if you try to do it then i cannot be the same answer
The mean of the 6th and 7th values
The mean average is 51
it gives you the adverage of all data represented
You would need to tell us about the data, the hypothesis and so on for us to be able to answer.
I think it means that our data includes outliers.
it tells you
Range is a measure of variation; mode is a measure of center. Range will tell you how much the data vary, mode does not tell you how much the data vary.
The mean tells the sum of the whole set of data.h
It is a measure of the spread or dispersion of the data.
It tells you the average of all of your data. So then you know about the answer to your question for your data.
i dont know...... it means
It is a measure of how variable the data is. The average distance from the average.
The mean and standard deviation often go together because they both describe different but complementary things about a distribution of data. The mean can tell you where the center of the distribution is and the standard deviation can tell you how much the data is spread around the mean.
The standard deviation tells us nothing about the mean.
