multiplication
A vector rotation in math is done on a coordinate plane.2D vectors can be rotated using the cross and dot product.3D vectors are rotated using matrix based quaternion math.
The dot-product and cross-product are used in high order physics and math when dealing with matrices or, for example, the properties of an electron (spin, orbit, etc.).
"dot dot dot" is an ellipsis. It means that the number continues in the way shown to infinity. For instance, the decimal 0.33333... which results from 1/3 carries on giving 3s forever. This cannot be written, obviously, so you write the ellipsis instead. This is also true if a pattern is more than just one number, 23/99 gives the decimal 0.232323.... where the dots represent how the 2323 pattern continues forever.

The dot between different numbers or symbols is used for multiplication.
A dot stands for multiplication simply because nothing else in math is a dot. Since X is a common math variable it is not used very often anymore in because it is too confusing when the problem looks like 3x x x + x= it is very hard to decipher.
You can use the common X multiplication symbol, a dot, or use parenthesis with a coefficient next to them.
If the numbers are separated by a multiplication symbol ( X ) then you multiply. If they are separated by a division symbol ( / or a short horizontal line with a dot above and a dot below), Then you divide.
A dot stands for multiplication. Ways to show multiplication: 10a 10 x a 10(a) 10 *dot* a
It depends on the context. A dot could be:a decimal pointabove a digit after a decimal: an indication of recurrenceif one of three dots: it could stand for "and so on" eg 1, 2, 3, ...a symbol for multiplication: eg a.b = aba dot product in vectorsa mathematical operation in group theory.
Some good multiplication equations to include in addition worksheets can be found at match equations dot com. You can plug them in on all kinds of math problems.
"Point".
It is always good to have additional practice for the subjects that someone is having difficulty with. I have found a few sites that will provide you with downloadable or printable multiplication practice worksheets. Check out math-aids dot com and superteacherworksheets dot com.
Multiplication is one of the stepping stones of Math. Basically, when you multiply numbers, they grow. Alot. Here are a few examples: 2 x 2 = 4 3 x 6 = 18 Either an x, a dot, or parentheses (), can be used to represent multiplication. For more help, google a multiplication table. There are many useful sites to help with that!
A full stop. It's normally mistaken by a dot.
