Since pi to 12 places is 3.141592653589 rounding up to 10 places would be 3.1415926536

This should be memorized by any serious science person, it could make the difference between hitting Mars or not... Or creating the skin for a planet the wrong size...

The answer is 'pi'.but you can only get a few decimal places that way.The value of pi also comes out of adding up a 'series' of fractions, where eachfraction is calculated from the same formula. This is a boring exercise if you'redoing it with a pencil, but computers don't get bored, and the current record forthe computer generated value of pi is now 5 trillion decimal places.
