The numbers are 8 to 22 (inclusive).

It immediately springs to mind that if 15 is the average then the numbers will start at 15 - 7 (8) and finish at 15 + 7 (22), but let's prove this!

We know that 15 is the average of 15 numbers. We can therefore work out what the 15 consecutive numbers add up to. We can then use algebra to calculate these numbers.

The numbers total 15 * 15 = 225

Therefore, where x is equal to the lowest number in the series:

x + (x+1) + (x+2) + (x+3)...etc all the way up to + (x+14) = 225

Therefore:

15x + 105 = 225

15x = 225 - 105

15x = 120

x = 8.
