A polygon is a flat figure, like a square. A polyhedron is a 3D figure, like a cube.
A polyhedron.
A circle is one example of a plane figure that is not a polygon. A V is also not a polygon.
A polygon is a closed plane figure consisting of straight lines. So a square is a polygon, a pentagon is a polygon. Just draw any closed figure with straight lines and you have a polygon.
Do you mean a polygon? A polygon is a two-dimensional figure.
It is because a polygon is 2D figure while a cube is a 3D figure.
A polygon is a two-dimensional figure. Therefore a cube is not a polygon.
No it is not a polygon, simply because it is a 3D shape. Yes it has all the other features but it is a 2D shape which is not one of a polygon's features.
A polygon is a flat figure, like a square. A polyhedron is a 3D figure, like a cube.
I don't truly understand that question but I'll give it a try. As a 3D modeller, I know that a polygon on itself is not 3D. However, it's placed in a 3D environement. Vertices (vertex plurial) are location points at corners of polygons with X,Y and Z positions. They're only markers. Just like kid's drawing between points, I polygon is flat. To get a 3D figure, you need more than one. Kindly, - N
There is no such thing. A polygon, by definition, is 2-dimensional.
what is the equation to figure the angles of a polygon?
A polyhedron.
Yes. A simple closed figure is counted as a polygon for a polygon is closed.
A 2D seven sided figure is called a heptagon. A 3D seven faced polygon is called a heptahedron.
Yes; a 8 sided figure is a polygon.
A polygon is a Two dimensional figure that is closed.
