A 3D shape is a 3 dimensional object. It needs to have a length, width and height. If something is 3D it means that you can pick it up. It is a solid object. Hope this helps !!

It is a shape that has a length, breadth and height - the 3 dimensions from which it gets its name. More technically, it needs to be extended in three orthogonal directions.
