∙ 15y agoMonomial is the word that means an expression consisting of only one term.
No, it's not a binomial. (x + 5) is an example of a binomial. A binomial has more than one term. Just look at the word binomial and you will know why. Bi means two.2xy is a monomial. Mono means one.
Similar means closely related and contradictory means opposite.
"Difference" means subtraction. for example the "difference" between 9 and 2 is 7.
The word difference means subtract! Here is an example!Example:7,935- 2,460______5,475
A monomial is any mathematical term that can be simplified down to one term. The term MONO means one and that is where the definition comes from.Examples:8xx58x9There are millions of monomials that come in endless variety. More complex but not too complex monomials are:8+38+3 is a monomial because it can be simplified to 11. You have been learning monomials since Kindergarten, the only difference is that now there is a fancy word for those simple mental math problems.

A monomial, you mean? If you meant so, here's Wikipedia's definition:"In mathematics, in the context of polynomials, the word monomial means one of two different things:The first meaning is a product of powers of variables, or formally any value obtained by finitely many multiplications of a variable. If only a single variable x is considered, this means that any monomial is either 1 or a power xn of x, with n a positive integer. If several variables are considered, say, x, y, z, then each can be given an exponent, so that any monomial is of the form xaybzc with a,b,c non-negative integers (taking note that any exponent 0 makes the corresponding factor equal to 1).The second meaning of monomial includes monomials in the first sense, but also allows multiplication by any constant, so that − 7x5 and (3 − 4i)x4yz13 are also considered to be monomials (the second example assuming polynomials in x, y, z over the complex numbers are considered). "Samples of def. 1: x2y5z3, xy12zSamples of def. 2: -5a3, (4x-7)m5n3
Variation is a synonym of difference.
on means ontop where in can mean inside

Discrepancy means a degree of difference.

A polynomial consists of terms which are multiples of non-negative integer powers of a single variable. An expression may contain several variables, or it may contain powers that are negative or fractional.
The obvious difference is the accent or apostrophe. which changes what would otherwise be the same word. the apostrophe is in place of the letter a in the word we're.We're means we are or we are (not) to do something. Were is a word that means what Was to be. (past)
