I don't think they really have a shape.They are huge balls of buring gas in the sky. But, I know for sure they aren't star shaped.

Have a quick glance at the sun ... the only star close enough to us for its shape to

be observable.

Stars are nominally spherical (round-shapes, ball-shaped), with the possibility of a

slight bulge around the middle of any star that spins fast.
