exmp:- 2/3, 4/5, a/b, where a<b

2. improper fraction

exmp:- 3/2, 6/5, a/b, where a>b

3. mixed fraction

exmp:- 3 2/3 (=3+2/3) a whole number + proper fraction

4. decimal fraction

exmp:- 7/10, 13/100, a/(10^b)

5. vulgar fraction

exmp:- a/b, where b is not equal to 10^n

6. Egyptian fraction

exmp:- 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/5, 1/6,...

7. compound fraction

exmp:- (1/3 of 6/7 of 2/3)

8. continuing fraction

exmp:- ???
