No, they have absolutely no need for mathematic knowledge. Could they use math to reduce the amount of work they needed to do or design the best way to do it? Sure, but they don't.
Yes. Indeed they do! For ten years I was a math teacher for a community college. I taught convicts at a med/max prison in Southern Illinois how to get a job as a custodian. I taught my convict students basic math, business math, geometry, algebra, and the metric system.

No job does not use math! Math is one of those things that is everywhere. Kind of depressing. *sigh* On the bright side, some jobs use less math than others! :) Although I think of writing as a job without math :)
