∙ 14y agoThe formula for finding the area of a triangle is: Area = (base * height) / 2.
You multiply the base and the height and then you divide the answers of that by 2. :)
1/2 the base times height or 1/2 the height times base
The formula for finding the area of a triangle is base multiplied by height divided by two(B*H/2)Made by: Christine Ayoh
The altitude formula is like this: Area x 2 divided by the base ( Ax2:b) The area formula is base x height divided by 2
The formula for finding the area of a triangle is: Area = (base * height) / 2.
The area of any triangle is1/2 of (the length of the triangle's base) times (the triangle's height).
The formula for the area of a triangle is base times height, divided by 2. The base is one of the sides and the height is a perpendicular line connecting the base to its opposite point.

Volume = Area of the base X height of prism. This formula works for all prisms, not just triangular prisms. Area of a triangle = height of triangle X 1/2 X base of triangle.
The formula is A=1/2bh b=base of triangle h=height of triangle A=area 1/2=divide base times height by 2
The altitude formula is like this: Area x 2 divided by the base ( Ax2:b) The area formula is base x height divided by 2
half x base x perpendicular heightThe height is called the perpendicular height because it is at a right-angle to the base.
The formula for finding the area of a triangle is half of the base x the height. For this triangle, it would be 1/2 of 10 X 3, or 15 square units.
the formula for finding the area of a triangle is 1/2base * height. so 1/2(6.2) * 4.5 = 13.95 in2
