What do you do? : 1 % is just as good as 1 over 100, which is a fraction. Also, it is 0.01 in a decimal (the one should be in the hundredth's place).

Want a different example? How about 32%?

Same thing: it is the same as 32 over 100, which is a fraction. (Get it? Like Per Cent? Cent stands for 100! So basically 32 per 100)

Then 0.32 is the decimal form.
