Calculate the volume of full cone. For this you need to reproduce the cone surface upto the point where radius becomes zero. Then deduct the volume of the portion which is cut from the full volume.

You can't multiply the height to the average of bottom area and top area. Because area (pi.r^2) is the second degree function of radius, not first degree.

What does a slump mean in concrete?

The term slump used in concrete means the thickness or thinness of the concrete. The slump is measured by filling a 12" cylinder up with concrete, then flipping it over and pulling the cylinder up. The distance the concrete "slumps" down from the top of the cylinder is the slump for that concrete. For example, if the concrete falls 6" from the top of the cylinder, that concrete is on a 6" slump.

What is compaction ratio of concrete?

The Compacting Factor = Weight of partially compacted concrete/Weight of fully compacted concrete. The weight of fully compacted concrete can also be calculated by knowing the proportion of materials, their respective specific gravities, and the volume of the cylinder. It is seen from experience, that it makes very little difference in compacting factor value, whether the weight of fully compacted concrete is calculated theoretically or found out actually after100 per cent compaction.

What is a slump cylinder?

When dealing with conrete the "slump" refers to how much will a sample sag, reduce in height in a given time frame. re: a 5" slump means that after removing the CYLINDER the concrete will lose 5 inches of elevation. The slump cylinder is the tool used to determine the slump of concrete.

What are required slump height of M20 for different concrete structure?

Required slump height of M20 for different concrete structures, are normally calculated by the required slump value, which would come out to be 100 lits.
