A proper fraction is one in which the numerator is less than the denominator.
That means that the value of the fraction is less than '1', so it can't be changed
to a whole number.

If you have an IMPROPER fraction ... one in which the numerator is more than the denominator ...
then it can be changed to a whole number plus a proper fraction, like this:

-- Divide the numerator by the denominator, to get the whole number, and a remainder.

-- Write the proper fraction. Keep the original denominator, place the remainder in the numerator.
