Your question is not clear or I am missing something?

The length of the fence (measured around its perimeter) is the circumference and that is your 10 metres.

Then again, a fence that surrounds a tower with a radius of 2 metres (radius measured from the centre of the tower) will have a circumference of:

Pi x 2r = Pi x 4 = 12.566 metres.

Would you use meters to measure a fence or another metric unit?

Metre to measure its length. Possibly centimetres to measure its height if a garden fence but metres if a security fence.

How much fence is needed to go around a yard?

Dimenisions are required to find the perimeter. And if the perimeter is 20 meters, then you need 20 meters of fence.

How do you Compute for the linear meter of the fence?

To compute the linear meter of a fence, measure the total length of the area you want to enclose. This involves adding together the lengths of all the sides of the fence. If the area is rectangular, use the formula: linear meters = 2 × (length + width). For irregular shapes, sum the lengths of each side individually to get the total linear meters required.

How many meters of fencing wiil be needed if a fence was built around a 44 by 48 meter lot?

Assuming the lot is square, you will need to find the perimeter of the lot. The perimeter is equal to the sum of the length of every side of the figure. In this case, (again, assumed), the figure is a square. This square has two sides of length 44 meters and two sides of length 48 meters. The calculation would be as follows:(44 + 44 + 48 +48) = 184 meters of fencing. If you also needed to find the number of square meters of fencing actually needed to build the fence, you could then multiply 184 (the total length of the perimeter you intend to enclose) by the desired height of the finished fence. Say you wanted a 2-meter-high fence. You could then calculate:184 meters long x 2 meters high = 368 meters^2, or 368 square meters of fencing.

If a wooden fence is to be built around a 24 meter by 32 meter lot how many meters of fencing will be needed and If the wood for the fence costs 21.25 per meter what will the wood for the fence cost?

you'll need 112 meters of fencing and it'll cost about $2,380.00 .
