There is no slope nor intercept because there is no equation, simply an expression.
first of all, i dont see how slope and yintercept has anything to do with shopping. usually in an equation, y= mx+b, m stands for slope, and b is the y-intercept. x and y are just x and y. If the equation is mixed up, and is not in y=mx+b format, you need to solve to get y on one side, the slope, x, and whatever the presented constant is (which is the y-intercept) on the other side. hope this helps.
To find the slope, you must have at least two points, not one. You cannot find the slope at one point, because coordinate points do not have slopes - lines have slopes.
The slope can help you find the y intercept of a line, as well as many other coordinates.
Well parallel lines have the same slopes....if you find the slope of a parallel that it the slope of the other line.....usaully you put this slope into Point-Slope Formula (y-1)= m(x-1) + 1 to find the answer as of Y=
It shows the relationship of y in terms of x. [y = (yIntercept) + ((slope)*(x))] [slope = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)]

You can write it either in standard form (ax + by = c) or in slope-intercept form (y = mx + b)
Without the inclusion of an equality sign and not knowing the plus or minus values of the given terms it can't be considered to be a straight line equation

We know that the line passes through points (2, 2) and (0, 10) (since the y-intercept is 10).Using these two points, we can find the slope of the line,m = (10 - 2)/(0 - 2) = 8/-2 = 4/-1 = -4.Now by using the slope, m = -4, and the y-intercept, 10, we can write the equation of the line in the slope-intercept form, y = mx + b which isy = -4x + 10.
The slope can be a fraction.
You find the tangent to the curve at the point of interest and then find the slope of the tangent.
You find the slope of the tangent to the curve at the point of interest.
Why do we need to find the slope of a line? The slope of a line tells us how something changes over time. If we find the slope we can find the rate of change over that period. Why do we need to find the slope of a line? The slope of a line tells us how something changes over time. If the slope of a line is m then the slope of an altitude to that line is -1/m.
