Factor trees, ladders, fireworks, rainbows... They're all the same thing; ways to notate the prime factorization of a given number. It doesn't matter where you write the factors on the page, pick the easiest way for you to keep track of them.
Example: 210
7,5,3,2
35,3,2
105,2
210
7,2,2 14,2 28
42 21.2 7,3,2 7,3,2 21,2 42
If completed correctly, the bottom branch of a factor tree will be the prime factorization of the number at the top.
Prime factorization is factoring a number down to its prime numbers.Example: Prime factorization of 12 :123 x 43 x 2 x 2^ That is a factor treewhich shows theprime factorization

7,2,2 14,2 28
7,2,2 14,2 28
Find the prime factorization. It doesn't matter if you use a factor tree, or rainbow or firework. For example: 42 42 21,2 3,7,2 The prime factorization of 42 is 2 x 3 x 7. The greatest prime factor is 7.

42 21.2 7,3,2 7,3,2 21,2 42
19 is a prime number, so it has no prime factorization.
A factor free is a diagram showing the prime factorization of a number.
Factor trees, ladders, rainbows, fireworks... They're all the same thing; ways of displaying the prime factorization of a given number. The prime factorization of 28 is 2 x 2 x 7. Write it however you wish. 7,2,2 14,2 28
Factor fireworks, like factor trees, ladders, rainbows, lattices and cakes is a way to notate the process of finding the prime factorization of a given number. Example: 210 7,5,3,2 35,3,2 105,2 210 2 x 3 x 5 x 7 = 210
If the prime factorization contains a 5 and a 7, 35 is a factor.
If completed correctly, the bottom branch of a factor tree will be the prime factorization of the number at the top.
Each composite number has its own unique prime factorization. The largest number in that factorization would be the largest prime factor. It will never be more than half of the original number.
