You would measure that in grams, or milligrams.
The head or the point of the pin? I would measure the head in millimeters and the point of the pin in micrometers.
With a sufficiently sensitive balance, the mass of a single pin can be determined. More commonly, one would weigh say 100 pins and thus know their average mass.
meters
The international (SI) unit of mass is the kilogram.
milligram.
It is a milligram.
You would measure that in grams, or milligrams.
A balance or a scale would be used to measure the mass of a pin. The pin would be placed on the measuring surface of the instrument and the reading would provide the mass of the pin.
there is a part of the circle that is straight. the pin closest to that straight part is negative
What should Firing pin protrusion measure?
You'll have to decide what you're looking for, and that's probably going to call for some modicum of comprehension. Every straight pin has a mass, a volume, a weight, and a density. It also has a length, a diameter, and a DC resistance.
What does a straight angle measure?
Safety pins are typically measured from the point of the pin to the end of the clasp in inches or millimeters. The size may vary, with common sizes ranging from 3/4 inch to 2 inches. To measure a safety pin accurately, use a ruler or measuring tape to determine the length from the tip to the end of the clasp.
A micrometer or caliper would typically be used to measure the dimensions of a pin, such as its diameter or length, with precision.
