Is this page of questions from school pupils asking us to do their homework? They are all suspiciously similar in type - only the values differ.
However, it's:
6n - 2n = 16
4n = 16 (by completing the subtraction since they are multiples of n)
n = 16/4 (change sides, change sign)
n = 4. (do the division)
36 -20 = 16
h = 63
m=16, n=2
To solve this equation:set it out as: x-16 = 14add 16 to both sides, so that x is left on its own: x = 16 + 14answer: x = 30
Solve using the quadratic formula
36 -20 = 16
x = -8
20
You can solve your algebra question like this: Example; n+6=16. You are going to need to find out what the N equals to. __+6=16 So you need to find out what the N equals to. You can also solve it like this: 16-6=10. So, 10 is the answer to the equation.
h = 63
m=16, n=2
To solve this equation:set it out as: x-16 = 14add 16 to both sides, so that x is left on its own: x = 16 + 14answer: x = 30
Solve using the quadratic formula

-4x-4 equals -16. Add 4 to both sides; -4x equals -12. Divide both sides by -4; x equals 3.
J = 5.92 J = 37% of 16 = 16 * (37/100) = 5.92
40 -7x = -16 -7x = -16 -40 -7x = -56 x = 8
