Imaginary numbers were discovered when mathematicians tried to solve equations of the form x^2 + 2 = 0
pie r squaredBrilliant as this above answer is, just in case someone out there might want the real answer: The actual problem was totake a disc in the plane, cut it into finitely many pieces, and reassemble the pieces so as to get a square of equal to the area. This was proven to be possible by Miklos Laczkovich in 1990; the decomposition makes heavy use of th the axiom of choice and is therefore non-constructive. Laczkovich's decomposition uses about 1050 different pieces.
Can't help as I have the same problem with my left hand indicator. Dealer ship useless and have tried changing switch unit and another has checked fuse connections which has solved it but short-term only. If you get an answer please post it on here and if I find the answer I will do the same ive had the same problem to solve it all i did was clean out the indicator stalk and it hasn't happend since Constant indicating: I managed to take of the housing aroud the stearing column and then removed the indicator switch it's self i blew it out with some aresol compressed air and put it all back and haven't had a problem since - Touch Wood - that was about 2 months ago. Hope this helps.
If you have already tried adjusting the temp controls the problem is likely a defrost control that is stuck in the "On" position. It is operated by the same timer as the ice maker. This is not a do-it-yourself repair.
