To find volume of a cylinder, which is what a pipe is, you take pi x r2 and multiply it by height (or the length in your case).

So, if the pipe has a diameter of 10 inches, its radius (r) equals 5 inches. 52 = 25. Now don't forget to multiply by Pi (I did) so Pi (3.14) x 25 = 78.5. Now all you have to do is multiply by the height which is 5 feet (or 60 inches, don't forget to convert). so 78.5 x 60 = 4710 in3

Volume of a cylinder = Pi x r2 x h
